Es presidente del BNO (Asociaci\u00f3n de dise\u00f1adores holandeses). Estudi\u00f3 Historia del Arte en la Universidad de Leiden y ha escrito varios libros sobre la historia del dise\u00f1o. Ha sido editor jefe de Morf, Revista para el Dise\u00f1o, y es el editor fundador del Anuario de Dise\u00f1o Holand\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Timo de Rijk produjo programas de televisi\u00f3n sobre historia del dise\u00f1o y es comisario y gestor de exposiciones. Ha sido profesor Premsela de Cultura del Dise\u00f1o en la Universidad VU, en Amsterdam, desde 2010-2013.<\/p>\n<p>Miembro del comit\u00e9 de dise\u00f1o del Dutch Raad voor Cultuur (Comit\u00e9 de Admisi\u00f3n del Gobierno Holand\u00e9s), comit\u00e9 asesor de la conferencia anual What Design Can Do; miembro del comit\u00e9 de la Academia Gerrit Rietveld y presidente de la Fundaci\u00f3n Vivid en Rotterdam.
