In 2004, he developed a program of studies, founding the School of Design which is part of University of Talca, of which he is still director and professor of Hierarchy Associated. He developed the free exercise of both professions and founded the studio 3Design with the designer Carlos Hinrichsen. He obtained a scholarship in 1982 from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization (JIDPO) in Tokyo, Japan, the\u00a0training course in Industrial Design. From 1974 to 2004, he was professor of Graphic and Industrial Design in the School of Design which is part of PUCCH, as coordinator of planning in this School and sub director of it during 3 periods. In charge of organizing the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> Bienal of Chilean Design.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h3>University\u00a0of\u00a0Talca<\/h3>\n<p>University of Talca is one of the 25 institutions for higher studies which include the Rectors&#8217; Council of Chilean Universities (CRUCH). Founded in 1981, after the merger of old headquarters of University of Chile and Technical University of the State (UTE), it slowly turned into one of the principal national references for public and non-profit high studies, being rated in recent rankings and measurements as the best state university of region. Its principal campus is located in Talca, capital of the Region del Maule. Today, it is composed of four campuses en Talca, Curico, Santa Cruz (Colchagua) and Santiago.
