In charge of creating the career Design of Apparel and Textile in University of Buenos Aires, she is a guest professor in several international universities.
Her complete profile is suitable to speak about experiences of fashion design, new areas of action, new forms of collaboration and co-creation, and about the role of public institutions in the help that give emerging designers.
Saltzman, who is a fellow of the Scientific Committee of Encuentro BID, has made lots of exhibitions and performances about apparel´s work in several museums like Foundation Proa, Cultural Center Recoleta, Malba, General Theater San Martin and Museum of Architecture of Buenos Aires, among others. She also participated in assessor commission of the Stamp of Good Design of the National Plan of Design of Department of Industry of the Nation.
Author of the book “El cuerpo diseñado, sobre la forma en el proyecto de la vestimenta” (Paidós, 2004), her presentation will give an integral point of view about different aspects of fashion design, like cultural industry for example.
