She has directed numerous transfer projects: topics such as design management, sustainability, usability, ergonomics, 3D printing and industry 4.0.

Since 1986, Manuel Bañó has combined teaching design with professional activity as a product designer. In 2000, he began to collaborate with the NGO Oxfam in the development of fair trade products for artisans without resources. Later on, with the experience acquired and the support of the CEU-UCH University, he created the design cooperation project called FREE DESIGN BANK, a social design and co-development project in which design students collaborate with artisans from different disadvantaged areas of the world, who need assistance in product design in order to improve their sales and thus their quality of life.
The FREE DESIGN BANK project is carried out in countries such as Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Cuba, Kenya, Tanzania, Senegal, Mali, Sierra Leone, Philippines, India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
Bañó’s designs for toys, footwear, furniture and lighting have been exhibited collectively at the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid, the Valencian Institute Valenciano of Modern Arts, the Museum of Ethnology or the Museum of Ilustration in Valencia.The Barcelona Design Museum is currently exhibiting its Sister Moon chair (Punt Mobles) in its permanent collection. Foundation and his various front pages of the newspaper “El País” stand out. He has won various awards and distinctions such as Laus, AEPD, Art Directors Club of Europe and recently the Good Design Chicago 2014. He is a member of the Spanish Council for Artistic Education.

Óscar Salinas

PerfilIndustrial Designer, Professor of Industrial Design and Doctor of Architecture. He is currently professor and researcher in the Industrial Design Master at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and is part of the governing council of the BID Encounter. CDMX, Mexico.
He has chaired and participated in the main design trade organizations in his country and is currently a board member of the international organizations ICDHS (International Committee of Design History and Studies), FHD (Design History Foundation) and the IDB (Ibero-American Design Biennial). He has served as director and tutor of more than one hundred undergraduate, master and doctoral thesis projects and postdoctoral research.
He has given courses and more than 90 lectures at various academic and professional events in Mexico and other countries such as Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Equator, Guatemala, Panama, Uruguay, Italy, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Finland, England, Japan, Brazil, Belgium, Scotland, Taiwan and China.
He is author or co-author of 14 books and multiple scientific articles in national and international publications on design topics. Through the Inter-institutional Committees for the Evaluation of Higher Education in Mexico (CIEES), he has evaluated more than 60 University Programs in the area of Architecture and Design.

She has more than 10 years of experience in different areas of design, especially in Design of Space and Commercial Furniture, Branding and Business Strategy. In the academic field, for 4 years she has been the leader of the Furniture Observatory, a project of SENA in the Furniture Technology Center that focuses on market research and design trends. She is currently participating in the projects of Strategic Prospective, Innovation, Change Management, Congress on Furniture Design “+mob” and “+mob” review of the same institution.
