Design Factory. Models of interdisciplinary work

The Aalto Design Factory (ADF) is, by definition a platform of experimental co-creation for the education, research and application of products of design and development. It was officially launched in October 2008 as one of the initial projects of the Aalto University. Continuous design, experimentation and sharing of the best practices are part of the daily practices at the ADF. Through a symbiosis of conceptual cutting-edge thinking and an active and interdisciplinary participation, ADF strives to conduct change in education and co-creation providing an environment of continuous development and collaboration between students, researchers and professionals from the companies.
