The imbalance, the social and cultural polarization, but also the digital and technological revolutions act as factor of wealth and accelerator of dualization, helping in developing levels never reached of wealth and well-being close to equally increasing standards of precariousness and structural unemployment. The profession is the face of new challenges, new spaces and new roles where there are multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and transverse teams, with opened and collaborative systems. For this, updating the formulae of relation and models of entail to interpret the frames of reference, in which design changes and new perspectives going from tangible to intangible design must be taken into consideration, is necessary: design of services, sustainable design, design for social innovation, design of information. It is high time to stop seeing design as an object but as a link between people and interactions.
